An estimated 60+ Sai Baba devotees from Calangute went a padyatra (pilgrimage on feet) from Calangute Sai baba temple Umtavaddo to Sangolda Saibaba Temple amidst chanting of Sai mantras and Sai bhajans. An ornately decorated palanquin comprising an idlol of Sai Baba was taken out in a procession wherein devotees walked bare foot the entire distance to Sangolda temple, with some halts on the way. PI Calangute Dattaguru Sawant too joined the procession.
The main rituals was held at the Calangute temple premises at 7 am after which the padyatra was
be flagged off with religious fervour.
