With the G20 summit just a few days away calangute MLA Michael lobo has said that all the necessary infrastructure is going to be put in place lobo said the especial emphasis should be given on improving steady water supply as the constituency is suffering from acute water shortage which will set a bad precedent to the tourists and delegates visiting the state ahead of the summit.
Lobo was speaking to reporters after inaugurating the works of the a refurbishing of a culvert and retaining wall at Orda St. Sebestian vaddo, Candolim near St. Cruz Chapel besides Lobo also present were sarpanch of candolim Fermino fernandes and all the panch members.
“Our constituency is already gearing up for the G20 summit which is going to be taking place in a few days’ time with hot mixing works of the roads going to be taken up with especially some of the main roads going to be beach getting hot mixed in the next two days’ time
Speaking further lobo said that as such kind of international summits bring in a lot of revenue to the state and basic infrastructure like adequate roads water supply and other infrastructure needs to be put in place so that the tourists and the delegates can take fond memories back to their respective countries” said lobo
