Stolen booty recovered from accused in theft case. Saligao PS crime No.15/2023 U/s 380 IPC was registered on 06/04/2023 for committing theft of Gold Ornaments i.e 1) Mangalsutra weighing 37 grms, 2) one Chain with 2 lockets 26 grms, 3) two pair of earrings weighing 4 grms 6) Patli (single) weighing 12 grms, 7) 05 bangles weighing 40 grms, 08) Nath weighing 02 grms, 09) 02 finger rings weighing 08 grms all W/Rs 2,90,000/-approximately. From one house at salmona waddo saligao. Accused Prajakta Khavnekar, age-22 years r/o Kudal, Maharashtra was arrested and remanded into 06 days Police custody. During the course of investigation all the stolen booty i.e Mangalsutra, Patli, 05 Bangles, Earrings, Nath and Melted Gold have been recovered at the instance of accused from different places at saligao and Kudal Maharashtra. ASI Suryakant Kolvalkar is further investigating the case under the supervision of PI Milind Bhuimbar.
