Goa Pradesh Youth Congress on Sunday ran a rapid fire question campaign against Amit Shah during his visit to Goa. The Youth Congress in Goa specifically sought answers regarding jobs for youth, which seemed to have been entirely missing from mention by the Home Minister of India, who solely focused on praising the CM of Goa, mining, Shri. Rahul Gandhi ji and the Indian National Congress. Furthermore, the campaign covered burning issues like the explosive expose on the Pulwama terror attacks by Goa’s previous Governor Shri. Satya Pal Malik, funds in Adani’s offshore shell companies, the Home Minister’s flying visits to the state solely during elections and the abject failure of the much touted “Double Engine Sarkar” model.
“It is pretty evident that the Hon. Home Minister of India Shri. Amit Shah doesn’t have much to talk about when it comes to the development work done by his party’s CM in Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant. Amit Shah’s deafening silence on the rampant, debilitating unemployment among Goan Youth and the Mhadei issue are tell tale signs of how defunct, derailed and out of touch the Double Engine Sarkar model truly is.” said Joel Andrade, President of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress. With a galloping unemployment rate amongst Goa’s youth, this abject reality will surely cripple the state going forward. “We are here to raise concerns of Goa’s youth and help secure their futures by standing steadfast and fighting for their issues; this administration will not be allowed to ignore our Youth’s plight, and we will keep hammering on these issues till this fascist regime gives us answers and takes the required remedial measures.”
The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress also vehemently condemned the line of attack that Amit Shah took with regards to Shri. Rahul Gandhi. Terming it as ramblings of disillusionment, fear and cluelessness, the Youth Congress reiterated that this constant attack on Rahul Gandhi is a result of how close to home he hit with his expose about Adani in Parliament, before being disqualified. “The Youth Congress as a whole is standing in complete solidarity with our leader Shri. Rahul Gandhi during this time, and would like to remind this regime that their fragile house of cards is going to come crashing down very soon, we are absolutely sure of it.”
