As part of his 50 th birthday Celebrations, chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant who himself is the ‘swayampurna mitra of the Saligao village on Monday met the people, listened to their grievances and queries of the people and sought to resolve them with administrative intervention,

After paying obeisance to Lairai Devi in Shirgao, where the zatra is being held coincidentally dr Pramod Sawant then visited the Saligao panchayat as part of the ‘Swayampurna Goa Abhiyan’ programme. Chief minister was accompanied by Saligao MLA kedar naik, Saligao sarpanch Lucas remedious and a large number of BJP supporters

As part of the programme the Saligao BJP block also distributed 10,000 distributed books to the students of various schools from Saligao constituency.

.meanwhile as part of the birthday celebrations the BJP also distributed coconut saplings and fertilizers, seeds, saplings, and other agricultural items.
