The works of laying of pavers from blooming buds high school to tulip hotel at Naikavaddo calangute commenced on Tuesday. The works were inaugurated by deputy sarpanch Geeta parab. The estimated cost of the works is around rs 10 lakhs.
Speaking to reporters Geeta Parab said it was a long pending demand of the locals that the works had to be carried as the road was in a dilapidated condition and the locals used the road to walk on this dilapidated stretch which was in a bad condition

A local from calangute thanked sarpanch Joseph sequeira and the deputy sarpanch for initiating the works on a war footing for the benefit of the people of calangute and the people of Naikavaddo
