Saligao constituency saw a big change as Rs 78 laks worth works commenced in Reis magos village
The works included hot-mix carpeting of roads in ward no 5 and also laying of pavers for roads in ward no11 undertaken by along with the assistance of the panchayat
It was a long pending demand of the people that the works of the hot mixing of roads had to be taken up as most of the roads were in a dilapidated state making it difficult of the locals to commute so paying heed to the demands MLA kedar naik with the support of the panchayat took up the works on priority. Besides naik also present for the inauguration were sarpanch of reis magos sushmita Pednekar, manisha Bandodkar, Prasana Nagvekar an others
It was a long pending demand that the works of hot mixing of several roads in reis magos had to be taken up as most of the roads were in bad condition making it difficult for the people to commute on the said stretch so keeping in mind the needs of the people we decided to take up the works along with the assistance of the people and the local panchayat” said naik
Speaking further naik said that there are also plans to set up a new panchayat Ghar and the works for the same will commence shortly he also thanked the panchayat and the people for staying united and co-operating towards doing development and added that a series of other developmental works in other villages of the constituency will also commence in another two month’s time
There are a lot of other Development works also in the pipeline for the village of saligao , he said, adding that a lot of development works for other villages will also not be missed out.
