Calangute MLA Michael lobo has stated that the present electricity substation put up at calangute has not been connected and the process to connect it will be completed in another week’s time which will help in solving the electricity problems in calangute constituency.
lobo was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the unveiling of the trophy for the PARRA CHAMP 2023 1ST All Goa Body building and men’s physique championship at Parra bardez
“We aldready had a meeting with the chief engineer Stephen and he is working on it to give the required power to Calangute substation the substation which is inaugurated doesn’t have incoming power because of a 15 mva transformer which was supposed to be connected at colvale which got connected and now we are supposed to give power to it so it will happen in this week” said lobo
