Calangute police have arrested one Matiur Rahaman of Dakshin Dinajpur west Bengal in illegal posession of ganja weighing 4 grams worth Rs. 40,000/- approx. all worth Rs 250000/-
according to calangute police On 04/05/2023 between 02.15 hours to 04.15 hours near Bodkewod, Porbawado, Calangute, Bardez-Goa a search of brown colour shoulder bag was conducted and during search found chocolate colour powder like substance suspected to be Heroin weighing 21 grams worth Rs. 2.10,000/- approx and orange colour powder like substance suspected to be MDMA weighing 4 grams worth Rs. 40,000/- approx. all worth Rs 250000/- which was in illegal possession of accused Matiur Rahaman S/o Ashok Gram, R/o Dah Pada, Purba, Bishnupur, Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal
Accused person is remaned into 5 days of Police Custody the was Raid conducted under supervision of PI Calangute Dattaguru Sawant , SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe and guidance of SP North Nidhin Valsan Team members Psi Ramesh Harijan Head constable Vidyanand Amonkar PC Vijay Naik, Ganapati Tiloji, Amir Garad, Bhagwan Palyekar , Pravin Chodankar Further investigation is in progress with PSI Paresh Sinari of Calangute PS
