While playing games and participating in sports activities youth have to think about their future. Goa have produced good cricketers who are playing at national level and in ongoing IPL matches. So he advised to Work hard and focuss on their objective to excell in sports
Stated by the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant who was speaking at a inaugural function of Khasdar Chashak organized at Ramnagar Ground Betim- Reis Magos today.
The Chief Minister said Government has implemented various schemes and polices to boost sports talent in the state. He suggested to the organizers to reach the central and state Government schemes to the needy people in the society. He appeal to youth to avail benefit of various schemes which are r implemented to enciurage spirts talent in the state.
The Chief Minister further speaking also said thawe are to host National Games in the state where in local participation is must.He suggested to strive so as to avail local particiation in the said mega sport event. Apart from sports he said Government also lays thrust on extending other social welfare schemes for the development of our people. For start up scheme Government grants subsidy of Rs. 10lakh and those who avails housibg scheme will get benefit of subsidy ranging from Rs 2lakh to Rs. 2.50 lakhs he informed. He also appreciateded the organizers for making the cricket tournament a success.
The Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, & Waterways, & Tourism Shri Shripad Naik while addressing said that we havevsport talent in abundance. Government strives to encourage sport talent by providing various schemes forthis sector.
The Union Minister further speaking highlighted the importance of sports where in there is vast potential for those desires to to maker carrier who can bring laurelks to state and nationl as well
He aporeciated enthusiastic participation of youth in this tournament. Therefore intends to plan to organize football tournament for south Goa he informed

The Cricket Tournament Organized by North Goa Bhrtiya Janata Yuva Morcha. The opening match of the tournament was played at Ramnagar Ground Betim – Reis Magos in Saligao Constituency today.
All total 19 teams participated in the tournament. The first match was played between Shree Bodgeshwar Boys versus Sadguru Boys. Shri Pratik Naik and Shri Rohit Halarnkar were the umpires for the tournament
