Goa, 18 May 2023: PMI Electro Mobility, India’s largest electric bus manufacturer, has achieved yet another milestone in its journey towards clean and sustainable transportation by delivering electric buses in Goa. The company delivered 20 electric buses to Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL), the state transport undertaking of the state of Goa, as part of a larger order to provide 48 electric buses before July 2023. Flagged off by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant, PMI’s electric buses in Goa mark a significant step towards the electrification of public transportation in the state.
The buses were flagged off by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa in the presence of Shri Shripad Y. Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Tourism and Ports; Shri Mauvin Godinho, Hon’ble Minister of Transport; Shri Vishwajit P. Rane, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development and Health; Shri Atanasio Monserrate, Hon’ble Minister for Revenue & Labour; and Shri Ulhas Y. Tuenkar, Hon’ble Chairman, KTCL and MLA of Navelim.
Foray into Goa has made PMI the only electric bus manufacturer to be present across 26 cities in the country, a testament to the company’s dedication to support state governments in achieving their clean mobility targets.

PMI’s electric buses are equipped with advanced features such as air suspension, real-time diagnostics, CCTV cameras, and panic buttons, making them reliable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective. The buses also feature automated digital fare collection, adding another layer of convenience for the passengers by making transactions faster, more efficient, and digital.

Each electric bus will offer a range of 180 km on a single charge.
