As per assurances given by CE electricity department on Tuesday that the power supply issue would be resolved within 72 hrs the works of laying of underground cables commenced on Friday
The work of restoration of uninterrupted power supply to entire Calangute is 90% Completed and It will take an another 2 hours time to complete fixing of Clamps , Wires & New Cables as per The Chief Engineer Mr. Stephen Fernandes.
Calangute Sarpanch – Joseph Sequeira along with Chief Engineer Mr. Stephen Fernandes ,and other officers supervised the ongoing work of laying of cables .
