A truck was caught by the Mamlatdar office at Calangute after it was found to be dumping waste material and doing land filing on the side of the road.

A truck was caught by the Mamlatdar office at Calangute wherein it was found to be dumping waste material and land filing on the side of the road.

The incident took place at Parbowada Calangut, the mamlatdar office received information that land filling was being dumped from a truck in the low lying next to the road. Accordingly, Talathi Shubham Sakhalkar rushed to the spot and caught the said truck and called the Calangute police and handed over the truck to them for further action. Later, the police confiscated the truck and took punitive action against the truck driver.
