Due to the neglect of these bus pickup sheds, which were built to protect the passengers from heat and rain, the passengers have to stand in the open again.
About 25-30 years ago, private passenger buses used to be stopped anywhere on the road when anyone showed their hand, after that specific places were fixed for stopping the buses and at that place Panchayats and Zilla Panchayats erected bus shelter sheds to protect the passengers from heat and rain. There are five bus shelter sheds out of which two bus shelter sheds are completely destroyed, one bus shelter shed is being used as a canteen and two bus shelter sheds are shelters for stray cattle.
The villagers are demanding that the broken shelter sheds should be rebuilt and all the shelter sheds should be repaired. Panchayat Sarpanch Laxmidas Chimulkar said that the shed which will be demolished will be rebuilt by the panchayat.
