Calangute police late Saturday arrested 1 vinit maulik for robbery and cheating of customers at a club in calangute
According to calangute police the complainant Shri Arun Malik from Sonipat Haryana appeared at this
Police Station “and reported the incident occurred with them at Jupiter Club Calangute.
Accordingly their detail complaint has been recorded, which in detail discussed with P.I. Calangute P.S. and upon his directions an offence was registered against against Accused: Ravi Chawan Vinit, 3 Subham Jillewar and 4) Jeevan That at about at about 14.00 hrs at Jupiter Parlour, beside Dominos Pizza, Calangute Bardez Goa the above noted accused person Ravi chawan approached the complainant and his friend Mukesh and took them to Jupiter Restaurant/ massage parlour at Calangute which was managed by accused No. 4 on pretext of providing massage and induced the complainant to transfer an amount of Rs. 6000/- through Google pay
including Rs. 2000/- as security deposit in the bank account of accused shubham Jillewar and further did not provide massage as promised and vinit forced the complainant to pay Rs. 32,000/- bill amount of the alcohol consumed by two female who were already present in the restaurant/
massage parlour and further on refusing to pay the said amount of Rs. 32,000/-, complainant and his friend Mukesh were confined in one room to recover the bill amount. Further the accused person no. 2 pushed the complainant and also abused the complainant and his friend in filthy language and threatened with dire consequences to kill and neither gave massage service nor returned their money, thereby cheated and attempted to commit robbery of an amount of Rs. 32,000/- from the complainant and his friend.
Hence offence U/s 323, 506(i), 342, 420, 392, R/.w 511 of IPC. FIR copies are being prepared to be submitted to the Hon’ble JMFC Mapusa and concerned superiors. The accused have been remanded to four days police custody
