Lob was speaking to reporters after inspecting a more than 200 years old Banyan Tree which was uprooted by the Builder for self benefit at khobravaddo Calangute
Condemning the act of the developer for destroying the more than 200-year-old banyan tree, the Calangute Constituency Forum (CCF) had requested the concerned authority to initiate strict action against the developer.
Lobo also blamed a real estate developer for the mighty fall of the national tree as the developer had been carrying out excavation at the site.
