A Massive Hog plum Tree(Ambadeche zhad) Crashed on to the house of one Gokuldas Salgaonkar’ Home near Shantadurga Temple, Calangute causing an estimated loss of around more than 20 lakhs
the incident occurred at around 9.30 am in the morning after the tree which was in a bad condition suddenly came crushing down on the roof of the house due to the heavy incessant rains. the impact was such that the entire roof was damaged in the incident. Fire Brigade officials from the Pilerne fire service rushed to the spot and initiated quick action by trimming the branches of the tree using a hydraulic cutter
