The Saligao police on Wednesday arrested two people from Bihar who were cheating people under the pretext of gold polish at Saligao.

According to the sources, the Two people approached house of local at Muddavaddao Saligao on Wednesday and convinced them with their skills and asked them to hand over the gold ornament for polishing. The persons dipped the ornaments in a solution and went to other houses for more business. In half n hour when ornaments were removed from the solution, they were shocked to see that gold ornaments turned into several bits.

Locals informed the matter to the neighbors and began searching for the thives. The locals caught the thives beaten them and handed over to the police.

A case has been registered at local police station. The police are now searching for the other people involved in this racket.
