Calangute Police conducted an extensive tenant verification drive at Orda Candolim on Thursday and checked around 200 personsSome indivisuals were found staying without their verification done at local Police Station. The room owners were briefed about importance of their tenant verification and those found without verification were asked to report Calangute Police Station as it is mandatory by law to submit details of tenant to local Police Station.
Calangute Police staff visited house to house at Orda Candolim to check if tenant varification procedure has been complied with.
Such drive was earlier conducted at Khobrowado Calangute and will be randomly conducted in other parts in the jurisdiction of Calangute Police Station in order for effective policing and to maintain 100% Tenant verification in the jurisdiction of Calangute Police Station.
