As part of the world tourism day celebrations the Village Panchayat of Calangute in the association with St. Alex Church Calangute organized Beach Cleanliness Drive on the occasion of world tourism day
present for the cleanliness drive were deputy sarpanch Geeta parab and all the panch members and the villagers. the villagers cleared the famous beach by picking up all the garbage ranging from plastic bottles bags and other items which were strewn on the beach giving it a filthy look.
