Saraswat Sports Sangh Charitable Trust in association with Desserts n More is organising all Goa Sarsangan Futsal Tournament on Sunday 1st October 2023 at The Base Futsal ground in Seraulim, Salcete Goa
A total of 10 Teams namely: FC Global of Yogesh Shirdonkar and Upendra Kamat, Salcete Stallions of Jaiprakash Sinai Kunde, Surgical Strikers of Dr. Shekhar Shirwaikar, Knight Archers of Kaushik Pai Fondekar, Antruz Rising Stars of Prassanna Kamat, Antruz Strikers of Sanket Singbal, Cosmos United of Gautam Amonkar and Adv Gaurish Agni, PDK Kings of Rahul Dhond, Mapusa Dream Crushers of Rajesh Colvalcar, and Pai Khot Fighters of Rasik Pai Khot, comprising of 120 players will fight it out in round robin league format with 5 teams in each of the 2 groups. The top two teams from each group will play the semi finals and the winners will play the final tomorrow late evening.
Retired GFA Referee Shri. Balwant Shirwaikar who has officiated international matches involving India, Russia etc will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural function tomorrow at 8:30 am
Besides the DnM Sarsangan Winners and 1st Runners up trophy, there are exciting prizes for Best Goal keeper, Best Defender, Best Striker. There are special prizes for Emerging Young Player and Player of the Tournament to encourage young players playing the tournament
The Organising Committee has appealed to the Saraswat Community in Goa to support the talented youngsters who will be fighting it out in a total of 23 matches for the coveted trophy
