The drive was held as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, on the eve of his birth anniversary. Deputy sarpanch Geeta Parab flagged off the campaign under Shramdaan initiative also present were Deepak Vaigankar, who is also swayampurna mitra for Calangute Panchayat
