Calangute Police using modern technology CEIR portal tracked down 51 high end mobile phones in last 3 months. These mobile phones were reported lost/misplaced by the tourist in the jurisdiction of Calangute Police Station. 51 such mobile phones of different brands mostly One plus and Samsung amount totaling to Rs. 13 lakhs approximately were tracked and handed over to the rightful owner by following legal procedure. PI Shri Paresh Naik of Calangute Police Station has appealed to the tourist visiting Calangute to take care of their belongings and valuables.
