Calangute police arrested one accused  for extortion and robbery
according to calangute police one mr Mr.Sandeep Shiralkar age 35yrs, occupation a Business men and a resident of shahuwadi District, Kholapur , Maharashtra lodged his complaint of robbery against two staff of Mehfil Club for extorting Rs.16,000/- from the complainant by putting him under the fear. Further intelligence was collected by the calangute polcie and the accused person namely Mr. YogendraBehera S/o Ajay Behera, 23 yrs, R/o C/oMehfil Club, Umtawaddo Calangute, n/o Kendra Para Orissa who isplaced under arrest.
In this connection registered Calangute Police Station Crime U/s392 r/wv 34 IPC. The accused person was produced before Judicial MagistrateFirst Class at Mapusa wherein he is remanded for Police Custody till20.11.2023.Further investigation is in progress under the Supervision of PIShri.
