An exhibition called splash organised by the water color artists association as part of the 54th IFFI celebrations is drawing a lot of people coming to visit this exhibition
the exhibition was inaugrated by art and culture minister Govind Gaude in the presence of ESG vice chairperson Delilah lobo and others
Twenty painters associated with the association have participated in this exhibition. Although not all of these members have received formal training in painting, many of them have mastered watercolors by attending various hands-on workshops of the association and through constant practice which is from the paintings in this exhibition that .The exhibition will run till November 28
such an exhibition has provided Goan artists and oppourtinity to showcase their talent and to promote this kind of an art form and i applaud the artists for showcasing their talent at this IFFI and we are proud of them for such kind of an art form
when asked about whether the governemnt has any plans towards setting up of an art museum in the state Gaude said that the process is currently in the pipeline and as the government is in the process of identifying the land to set up the art museum
we had this same idea of setting up of an art museum and I have spoken to the chief minsiter towards setting up of this museum and once the land acquisition process is complete the process of setting up the museum will be complete” said Gaude
