The annual general body meeting of the Pilerne Communidade held on Sunday unanimously passed a resolution to grant land for the xavierian education society of Pilar for construction of an educational institute

The attorney placed before the general body and explained to the General body in detail mentioning about the past letters of the province of Xavier society and the replies given to them by the communidade of Pilerne. The attorney read the order of the Mamalatdar Mapusa court as under and the matter was called out on Sunday. As none was present for the applicant inspite of the opponent being present  and inspite of the opportunities  the applicant failed to appear in the matter and it seemsed that the applicant was not interested in the present matter and hence the matter was dropped    for default  of the applicant which was pronounced in the open court order dated 8-06-2023 the mater was placed before the general body for approval and a request to the provincial superior chairman of the xaverian educational society to go forward with the further process of the file and for government grant. Mr Celerance dsouza present for this meeting proposed the resolution while the Pilerne commuidade unanimously seconded it . with regards to the discussion on the 50 percent Foro  amount paid by the Gauncars of Pilerne communidade the attorney explained that on the said agenda to the general body  the gauncars were being harassed  by the panchayat secretary for getting 50 percent Foro amount irrespective of their plots file and the panchayat NOC and also to get approval from the panchayat.  The general body brought to the notice that 50 percent concession be given to the gauncars who apply for the plots because the gauncars are the co-owners of the land. The general body also requested the managing committee to make a letter to the panchayat for creating problem of 50 percent Foro amount prescribed by the communidade. The general body also requested the managing committee to write a leeter to the panchayat for the decision taken by the pachayat body for their objection on the files of the gauncars on the issue of 50 percent foro received by the communidade and also requested the communidade to get the reply from the panchayat on the basis of objection by them on 50 pecent of the foro taken from the gauncars. The General body also urged the communidad to give a months time to the panchayat to reply on the same. The other issue discussed at meeting was also regarding the communidade of Marra Pielrne  being classified as a defunct communidade. The general body unanimously resolved that there is no defunct  communidade as  classified by the administrator and the said under all survey numbers belongs to the communidade of Pilerne which was proposed and senconded by the Pilerne communidade
