The exclusive masterclass at KCCA, India’s first culinary business school, was conducted by Chef Rumana Jaseel, owner of Incredible Art – Artisan Cake Boutique in Kochi and an Executive Pastry Chef and Chocolatier.

Chef Rumana’s other prestigious accolades include winning the Best Pastry Chef at the Restaurant India Awards in 2017 and 2018 and the Best Patisserie and Chocolatier of the Year at the Global Food & Hospitality Award 2023 and more.

With an illustrious career spanning over 16 years, Jaseel utilised her cumulative experience and knowledge to impart to students the art of baking and crafting elaborate cakes, which often take centre-stage at weddings.

“Over four days, students were taught practical baking and cake decorating skills as well as business and marketing strategies for wedding cake design. The masterclass culminated with a group display to celebrate the students’ work across the masterclass,” stated Chef Rumana.
