Bihar Native arrested by Mapusa Police for involving in theft at Municipal market , Mapusa .

Accused person had broken open five shops Early morning on 19.12.2023 at 05.00 hrs acting on call given by Public Mapusa Police immediately intercepted Mr. Chandan Das S/o Harindar Das , aged 21 years R/o Mapusa , Bardez ,Goa N/o Bihar for committing theft and damaging the one beaty Parlour and Hotel Shantadurga at Municipal market , Mapusa.

In this respect Mapusa Police Station registered FIR U/Sec. 457, 380, 427, 511 IPC .

Further, Mr. Chandan Das S/o Harindar Das , aged 21 years R/o Mapusa , Bardez Goa N/o Bihar immediately arrested and presently in Police custody .

The stolen property i.e. electronic items with cash recovered at the instance of accused Chandan Das.

Investigation is in progress under Supervision of PI Shitakant Nayak , DySP Jivba
Dalvi , SP North Nidhin Valson.
