NGO the reformers for Justice has Called for Justice and proper Accountability in the Wake of the Hit and Run Bill’s Passage Through Parliament”
The Reformers Group For Justice raised their voices against the penalty of 7 lakh rupees and 10 years imprisonment in the Hitand Run Act and urged the government to cancel this Act.

On this occasion, the president of the organization Subhash Kerkar, Avinash Bhosle, Amrit Agarwadekar, Ramdas Morje, Samit Parwar and Milan vaigankar attended the press conference.
Adv Avinash Bhosle said that after an accident, drivers go to the police from the spot because they fear that they will be beaten up. In such cases, a hit and run case arises. Under the Hit and Run Act, a fine of 7 lakh rupees and a 10-year police custody has been provided in the law. The driver who works as a general vehicle is working on a meager salary. Avinash Bhosle raised that it is time for the public to think about where the 7 lakh rupees will be paid in the hit and run case of a common scooter driver.
The president of the organization, Subhash Kerkar, said that public agitation against hit and run law has been started all over the country. While making laws, the government immediately implements the law with the attitude of “Hum Kare So Kaida”. Subhash Kerkar said that the government is thinking of shutting down the voice of democracy by creating any laws. There is a need to create laws taking care of the interests of the people.
Amrit Agarwadekar said that the government is making laws to make the country sujalamsuphalam. But the BJP government is forcing the people to do Satyagraha protests in the country by making laws against the interest of the people.
