National Youth Week celebrations were organised at DMC College, Assagao with the theme “Youth As Job Creators

“The Government of India observes January 12 every year as National Youth Day to commemorate the birthday anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Goa organised various programs in the state as part of the National Youth Day celebrations. Cleaning drives, Awareness sessions and a bouquet of competitions for school students were held. the function was inaugurated by Mapusa MLA Joshua D,souza in the presence of Director of Higher education Bushan savaikar and others The Youth play a pivotal role in propelling our state forward. Commending the Directorate of Education for championing youth-centric initiatives and applauding the college for embracing such programs. Several competitions such as portrait drawing, poster making, essay writing, and slogan writing were conducted for the students as part of the celebrations. The winners were given prizes at the event.  lter chief minister Dr Pramod sawant held interaction with the students.
