Best Library State Award to Shree Saraswati Library
Shree Saraswati Library at Faz Housing Colony Madel Thivim was awarded the Best Library State Award 2023-24.
The award was presented by chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant in the presence of the guest of honor actress Madhura Velankar Satam. Secretary of Cultural Department Swetika Soochan, Chairman of Award Selection Committee Kamlakar Mhalashi, Curator of Central Library Dr. Sushant Tandel, Director of Art and Culture Directorate Sugun velip , Deputy Director Ashok Parab and others .
Shri Saraswati Library President Prof. Subhash Kauthankar received a memento, a certificate of appreciation and a check of Rs 50,000 from the audience as an award. On this occasion, the Vice President of the library Shirish Desai, Secretary Rameshwar Kubal, members Sudhir ‘Revankar, Gauresh Naik and librarian Tejashwi Kamat were present on the platform.
