PANAJI: Chairman of Goa Rehabilitation Board and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai urged the youth to take up agricultural activities. He also extolled the youth to drive the country’s development.
He was addressing the students of Goa College of Agriculture at the National Youth Week celebrations at Old Goa in the presence of Principal Suresh Kunkalikar and other dignitaries.
National Youth Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivek Ananda, and wished all the youth on this occasion.
Appreciating the infrastructure of the new college at Old Goa, Faldessai motivated students to take up agriculture.
The MLA also urged students not to get involved in wrong doings, and promised to render assistance for any issues they face.
“Let’s inspire and empower the youth to drive the nation’s development with their vigour and vitality. Let’s build a society that encourages innovation, inclusion, and positive change,” he said.
“A plethora of opportunities is opening for our youth across the country, and the government is working overtime on this. The youth must also to take India forward in this Amrit Kaal to make India a ‘Viksit Bharat,'” he added.
