Faldessai cleans premises of 5 temples in Cumbarjua constituency
Panaji: As part of BJP’s Swachchata Abhiyan at holy sites ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram temple on January 22, Goa Rehabilitation Board Chairman and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai on Friday cleaned the premises of few temples in his constituency.
He participated in the Swachh Teerth Campaigning at Vadeshwar Mahadev Temple, Old Goa.
Present were BJP workers, sarpanchs and panch members of various panchayats like Old Goa and St Estevam, and citizens.
“In advance of the Pran Pratishtha, we have been continuously cleaning temples ever since the initiative was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the Ram Mandir, we are going to place large screens and hold a big function on the day of the temple inauguration,” he said.
He also appreciated the notice issued by Cumbarjua panchayat on the banned items to be adhered to on the Pran Pratishtha day and thanked the panchayat for this initiative. He also said that all other panchayats should also follow these steps.
