Faldessai visits temples in Cumbarjua constituency
Panaji: Following the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir and the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the idol at Ayodhya, Goa Rehabilitation Board Chairman and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai on Wednesday visited various temples in his constituency.
The MLA travelled across the constituency in an open jeep as part of a huge rally comprising various supporters.
“After 500 years, the wait for the Hindu brethren to see the Ram Mandir become a reality has been finally fulfilled by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the run up to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, we held various programmes and cleaned the temples across Cumbarjua constituency. On Monday, we conducted various event to celebrate this momentous occasion. Today, we decided to have this rally as part of the celebrations. As our Prime Minister had said, visit your neighbourhood temples and take darshan of the deities. Hence, we visited the temples and paid our respects. We truly feel blessed,” he said.
“Under the PM’s leadership and our Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, we are striving to create better facilities for Indians. Ayodhya has undergone a massive transformation with mega infrastructure created. Similarly, Goa has witnessed massive development with the new Zuari bridge and other projects. Our Prime Minister is going to visit the state soon to inaugurate numerous projects and also lay the foundation stone for many other projects,” the MLA said.
