Contract workers of Electricity department called on Aldona MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira with the representation for regularisation of the jobs as they have been in service on contract basis for over 10 years and now will face challenges in securing government jobs given the fact that they have crossed the eligible age for employment and may be rendered jobless. Advocate Ferreira assured that he would take up their issue in the ongoing session of the Goa Legislative Assembly and attempt to resolve the issue expeditiously.
