Calangute : Citizens are enduring a challenging time as a scorching heatwave exacerbates the frustration caused by frequent power outages especially in the coastal belt and famous tourist hot spot of Calangute and other Villages of Bardez area . on Sunday The Electricity Department was kept under pressure to address the issue, as the outages made it unbearable to cope with the heat.
Startling revelations emerged that areas supplied by the candolim feeder sufferd the most due to intentional power shutdowns aimed at preventing damage from the increased load .
