Chief minister was speaking at the inauguration of the north Goa BJP office election office at Mapusa besides chief minister also present were north Goa BJP president sadanand shet Tanavde, union minister Shripad Naik, Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza, Thivim MLA Nilkant Harlankar, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte , and former chairperson of the Mapusa municipal council Priya Mishal , Damu Naik, Mandrem MLA Jeet Arolkar and other dignitaries
Chief minister also hinted at Shripad naik’s candidature for the north Goa Lok sabha seat naik is a sitting MP and union minister for state for tourism

The chief minister further criticised the aam Admi partys decision to contest the north Goa seat as chief minister mounted an attack on the INDIA opposition combine, saying the INDIA block no more exists now because no one trust the Congress and Rahul Gandhi in the country.
The Chief Minister further urged the BJP workers to work hard to ensure the Lotus blooms in north Goa with a 60,000 vote margin.
“Promising the double engine government will complete the remaining projects in north Goa in particular and Goa in general, Sawant said all the Talukas in the state have benefited from the projects sanctioned by the Centre in the last 10 years.
Chief Minister further said that people will give the Seat to make Narendra Modi the prime Minister for the third time, the Chief Minister said he is confident that people north Goa will vote for the BJP in a big way in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
However, the north Goa MP and the Union tourism minister, Mr Sripad Naik contesting the seat for the fifth time gave the credit to his karyakartas for victories in the past
