SDPO pernem jivba Dalvi informed that in major drug raid Pernem Police on 14/02/2024 at Corgao Pernem arrested two persons namely 1)Mr. Shubham s/o Samarnath Sharma, age 27 yrs, r/o Murmusewada, Tuem, Pernem, Goa and 2) Mr. Gopinath Harmalkar, age 25 yrs, r/o Gawdewada, Morjim, Pernem, Goa for having found in possession of Narcotic Drug i.e. Ganja weighing 2.5 KG worth Rs.2,50,000/- approx which they were carrying on their Yamaha Aerox Scooter to deliver to their prospective customers.
Police attached Yamaha Aerox in case .. and two mobile were also seized from at the instance of accused along in drugs .
Pernem Police Station registered offence u/s 20(b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Vivek Halarnkar under the supervision of PI Pernem PS Shri. Sachin Lokre and under overall supervision of SDPO Pernem Shri. Jivba Dalvi and SP North Akshat Kaushal IPS .
