In view of Lok Sabha elections-2024, the Income Tax department has set up a control room

In view of Lok Sabha elections-2024, the Income Tax department has set up a control room which is functioning 24×7 hours and will remain functioning till the conclusion of elections.The department has urged all the citizens to make use of this facilties and share the genuine information
The additional director of Income Tax (Inv) 3rd floor Tristar Building, EDC Complex, Pato, Panaji, stating that the main aim of the control room is to receive any complaint regarding distribution of cash, freebies, or any inducement by any person or parties can be shared with the department by contacting the toll-free number 1800-233-3941, landline number 0832-2438447 and also provided with the E-mail goaelections@incometax.gov.in.
The Income tax department has also promised to keep the names and details of the persons who are sharing the information will be kept confidential, by the department.
