Residential Science Camp at Shanta Vidyalaya Siolim organised by Sushruta Science Academy

Sushruta Science Academy organized a 3 day full time Residential Science Camp at Shanta Vidyalaya Shivoli from 5th to 7th April 2024 for the students of class 8th and 9th.
81 students and 18 teachers from 18 schools participated in this camp. 14 resourceful experts guided the students in this 3-day camp. Various sessions were organized on Mathematics, Experiential Science, Career Guidance, Ocean Science, Artificial Intelligence, Laughing Science, Science Quiz, Yoga, Physical Education. A biopic film on Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan was also screened. The science projects carried out by the children of some schools were exhibited and the participating children were felicitated with prizes.
The Science Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Mahesh Patil, Chairman, Goa Pollution Control Board. He advised the students about environment.
The camp concluded with a moral lesson by the Patron and well-known educationist Mr. Dilip Betkekar.
15 members of the organization’s team and 11 student volunteers worked tirelessly to make this camp a success.
