Molbio and Directorate of Health Services Sign Memorandum Of Understanding to Enhance Healthcare Services in Goa
Panaji: Molbio Diagnostics Private Ltd and the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), together with the Goa Corporate Social Responsibility Authority, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 26th July, 2024 to enhance healthcare infrastructure and services across the state of Goa.
This collaboration, part of Molbio’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, reaffirms the company’s dedication to advancing public health and improving medical services nationwide. Molbio has generously committed to the Directorate of Health Services, four Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment like transport ventilator, automated external defibrillator, multi-para truescope monitors etc. These ambulances will be strategically deployed on the National Highways, ensuring rapid and efficient medical response in emergencies.
Additionally, ophthalmic equipment to bolster eye care services in district hospitals and improve the overall quality of ophthalmic care available to residents, and two hearse vans enabling dignified transportation of deceased individuals, addressing a critical need in the community, will also be provided as part of the understanding. By supporting these essential assets, Molbio aims to continue to significantly contribute to the welfare and healthcare of the local population.
The formal signing ceremony took place at the DHS headquarters in Panaji with Dr. Rupa Naik, Director of DHS, Mr. Vijay Saxena, Joint CEO CSR Cell Goa and Sandeep Khare, Financial Controller, Molbio as the signatories. Dr Rajnanda Dessai, OSD to Hon’ble Health Minister of Goa and Dr. Kedar Raikar, Nodal officer, CSR DHS witnessed the event. This partnership is expected to set a precedent for future collaborations aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region.
