Now-a-days it is necessary for the youth to pay more attention to reading and it is necessary to regularly read magazines like Competition Success Review to gain success in the competitive exams. Also, it is very important to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in today’s generation said  Dr. Sukhaji Naik

Dr naik was speaking at the annual student felicitation of Shri Shantadurga Socio-Cultural and Educational Association.

Dr. Sukhaji Naik, a member of Goa Public Service, as the President, was the chief guest in the ceremony held at the new hall of Shantadurga Temple in candolim .

Dr Sukhaji Naik was felicitated  with a shawl and momento and also Dr. Omkar Shirodkar from candolim was felicitated by Dr. Naik for passing the MBBS exam with the highest marks. Dr. Vasudev Dukle, Arun Kamat, and Anand Bandodkar were present on the platform. Students from class IV to college who passed with distinction were honored  with certificates and scholarships. Waldron Carvalho, Rivik Haldankar, Tejas Shirodkar were honored and cash prizes were awarded to Sharvin Fernandes, Sara Fernandes who got 75 percent and above marks in class 10th. Those felicitated  included Pearl Sequeira, Siddhesh Velaikar, Kanrich Lopes, Siddhant Dhargalkar, Daivik Naik, Mayur Haldankar, Carmen Dias, Aidan Rodrigues, Nadisha Kandolkar, Tushar Borkar, Class XII toppers Alaika Fernandes, Elrich D’Souza, Deepej Revadkar, Jayden Smauel. Pereira and other students were felicitated.  Some of the needy students were given financial assistance for their further education by treasurer of the association Anand Bandodkar, treasurer of the association gave vote of thanks Shubhangi Shirodkar moderated
