National Space Day celebration at Goa Science Centre, Miramar with the theme ‘Touching lives while touching the moon: India’s space saga.’
The Goa State Council for Science & Technology in association with Department of Science & Technology & Waste Management Govt. Of Goa organised the #NationalSpaceDay celebration at Goa Science Centre, Miramar with the theme ‘Touching lives while touching the moon: India’s space saga.’
The programme comprised of the top North Goa & South Goa participants contesting at State level. Poster & Space Quiz competition was organised for the high school students, water booster rocket launching demo for HSS students and powerpoint presentation competition for Basic Sciences & Engineering students.
The lecture on Developments in cutting Edge Technologies in Space Science was delivered by Eminent Retd. Scientist from ISRO Bengaluru Dr. Uday Raj.
The Valedictory function was graced by Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS , Director of DST& WM , and Mrs. Brenda Fernandes, Member Secretary ,GSCST.
