FC GOA THRASH GOA POLICE SC 9-0 IN FRIENDLY MATCH
Saturday, October 12 – Bambolim, Goa: FC Goa defeated Goa Police SC 9-0 in a friendly game played between both the sides at the SAG Athletic Stadium. Armando Sadiku extended his scoring streak with a hat-trick – he has now scored in each of the last 10 games he played for the Gaurs (including friendlies).
In another positive news for the Club’s faithful, Iker Guarrotxena and Sandesh Jhingan returned from their long-term injury layoffs and featured for about 60 minutes, and can be expected to play against Mumbai City FC in their upcoming match in the Indian Super League (ISL) next Saturday. Iker played a key role as well, especially in the first half where he created three successful goal-scoring opportunities before adding a fourth to FC Goa’s tally.
Brison Fernandes, Udanta Singh, Muhammed Nemil, Borja Herrera and Ayush Chhetri also found the back of the net for the Gaurs.
