LOCAL LEADER CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY AMIDST NATURE, GIVES BACK TO COMMUNITY
Pilerne, Goa – Deputy Sarpanch Ajay R. Govekar recently celebrated his birthday in an unconventional yet inspiring manner, surrounded by nature at Peacock Garden in Pilerne. The event combined personal joy with community service, featuring tree plantings, gift-giving to panchayat staff and garbage collectors, and a nature-themed painting session for children.
The celebration also showcased traditional Goan cuisine through a Van Bhojan feast. Distinguished guests, including MLA Saligao Kedar Naik, ZP Reis Magos Sandeep Bandodkar, and local officials, joined villagers in wishing Govekar well.
