Three-Day Children’s Camp at Shri Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Waghali-Kamurlim
A three-day children’s camp was organized by Yuva Sanskrutik Samiti at Shri Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Waghali-Kamulli, from October 27 to 29, 2024. The camp was inaugurated on Sunday, October 27, 2024, with Shri Pradeep Anvekar, President of Yuva Sanskrutik Samiti, and Shri Sharad Gad, member of Yuva Sanskrutik Samiti, as chief guests.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the guests’ addresses, which motivated the children. The entire program was anchored by teacher Smt. Pragati Sandesh Naik.
The first day’s sessions included, Prayer session ,Games and yoga, Paper match and Bhel making Children enjoyed the day’s activities and prepared for the next day.
Monday’s sessions included Prayer Traditional games Wall hanging Community dining (Tithi Bhojan)
A special feature of this session was the participation of parents, who brought nutritious food from home. Children sat on the floor and ate on banana leaves, learning table manners and cleanliness.The final session on Tuesday included Kite flying Decorating the school with lanterns and Traditional snacks (Faral). Parents joined their children in flying kites and enjoying traditional snacks.
Valedictory Sessions Children shared their experiences, and parents expressed gratitude to the teachers. The program’s success was attributed to the efforts of teachers Smt. Pragati Sandesh Naik and Kumari Kritika Sathelkar.
This camp aimed to provide a platform for children and parents to bond and engage in various activities together.
