CHILD RESCUE RUN IN CALANGUTE RAISES AWARENESS AGAINST CHILD ABUSE
Calangute, Goa, [2nd November ] – The coastal town of Calangute witnessed a child rescue run yesterday, organized to spread awareness about child abuse and exploitation.
Over 500 participants, including locals, tourists, and students, joined the 5-km run with the Collaborative effort between Calangute Police, Childline, and local NGOs
“The run aims to sensitize people about child abuse and encourage reporting of suspicious cases,” said, Calangute Police Inspector.
Goa records a number of cases of child abuse annually and Childline receives calls related to child exploitation monthly
“Every child deserves a safe and secure environment. We must work together to prevent child abuse,” said a , Childline official.
