PRESIDENT DROUPADI MURMU ARRIVES IN GOA, RECEIVES WARM WELCOME
President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, arrived in Goa and was warmly welcomed by the state’s dignitaries at INS Hansa, Dabolim. The reception committee consisted of Governor of Goa, Shri. PS Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Protocol Minister, Shri. Mauvin Godinho, Leader of Opposition, Shri. Yuri Alemao, and MP Lok Sabha, Capt. Viriato Fernandes ¹.
The President’s visit is expected to boost the state’s morale and strengthen its ties with the central government. As the 15th President of India, Droupadi Murmu’s presence in Goa highlights the state’s significance in the country’s development.
