Cooperation Minister Shri Subhash Shirodkar Honors Excellence in Cooperative Sector
Goa, November 20, 2024: Cooperation Minister Shri Subhash Shirodkar attended and presented the 71st National Co-operative Week -2024 and Goa State Co-operative Awards at Shiroda. The event was organized by the Department of Cooperation, Government of Goa, in association with The Goa State Cooperative Union Ltd., Panaji, National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi, and National Bank of Agriculture & Rural Development.
The theme for this year’s cooperative week was “Cooperative Women, Youth & Weaker Section”, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and empowerment in the cooperative sector ¹. This theme aligns with the government’s efforts to promote economic development and social welfare through cooperatives.
Shri Subhash Shirodkar, who represents Shiroda Constituency, has been instrumental in intensifying efforts to boost the agriculture production and contribute to the national economy through cooperative societies ¹.
