Sand, Cinema, and Splendor: CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Unveils Stunning Sand Art Tribute at IFFI 2024″
Goa’s Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, inaugurated a stunning sand art piece titled “Tribute to the Legends” at Miramar, Goa, as part of the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) ¹. The sand art was crafted by renowned Padma Shree awardee, Sudarsan Pattnaik.
The sand art is a beautiful tribute to Indian cinema legends, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage. Sudarsan Pattnaik, a world-renowned sand artist, has participated in over 65 international sand art championships and festivals, winning numerous awards for India ².
The inauguration ceremony took place on the occasion of the 55th IFFI, which aims to promote Indian cinema and provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work. The festival is being held in Goa, and the sand art installation is one of the many attractions that are part of the event.
